360 Degrees of Basement Protection
Basement drainage installations vary from several feet of piping to 360 degrees of protection. Kinetic Basement Solutions can install drainage systems in sections so if you need only one wall done it's no problem. This means that later on it can be easily converted into one full system.
Our Pinnacle Protection incorporates wall vapor barrier with a full 360 degree of drainage just inside the basement walls. This means two things: First, any water coming in from the perimeter of the basement hits the drainage pipe immediately. Second, any water coming up from the middle of the slab will have to travel less distance than if you have a pit in one corner of the basement. This is very important when you have clay soil under your slab or when the slab lacks a draining stone below it.

Grate Drain is a 70% recycled plastic drainage pipe used for under slab drainage. It's the most advanced system we have found so far and it eliminates many problems that occur using inferior piping. Grate Drain Systems are fully accessible for servicing even after concrete is re-poured. This allows for iron bacteria flushing and remediation. The antimicrobials in the plastic drain resists iron and clogs by having a greasy feel that objects have trouble clinging to. The dual chamber design is like having two pipes installed at once for added protection. Grate Drains are also rectangular which allows for more volume with less depth than round pipe.
Kinetic only uses pits with two sides of fully perforated grating , so as to flow water into pits ten times faster than in pits with holes put in after the fact. Grate Sump sump pits use the surrounding drainage stone to add volume to their pits. By doing this type of installation your pit volume could be as high as 60 to 100 gallons versus your average 15 gallon pit from plumbers or box stores. This means your pump will kick on longer but have far less interval of turn on. It has higher efficiency this way and is the fix for those with pumps that turn on every 5 minutes. These pits can lower interval of pump kick on by as much as 20 times or better.

Vapor Barrier
Vapor Barriers are not just for moisture. Used in conjunction with under slab drainage, it creates a sealed barrier from moisture and water. This way it’s a truly a "one of a kind" complete basement protection solution for mold, mildew, radon and their odors. The vapor barrier itself is a tear resistant 16 millimeter thick impermeable fabric. This fabric can be used in a crawl space or in basement walls to completely stop moisture and cut down on radon entering your home.
Insulated Vapor Barrier
Also available is an R-9 two sided foil. This is a non organic barrier that works like our original barrier but with insulating qualities. Due to earth berm of surrounding soil, basements do not require insulation of interior walls. Quality double pane windows with no drafts and our R-9 insulation vapor barrier is all you need. These windows eliminate the need for interior wall insulation, which collects moisture and tends to grow mold, in addition to making a nice home for pests.
