We have a small (about 5 gallons) water seepage at the rear wall of the finished part of the basement (about half of the basement is finished) only during Nor'easter type of storm. Again this does not happen every storm. We finally opened up paneling (paneling is 8 inches away from the floor installed over studs/sheet rock). We found a leakage through a SHRINKAGE TYPE OF CRACK -yellow water marks). The crack starts at bottom corner of the window at about 5 feet height and goes to the floor at about 30 degrees angle (away from window) to the vertical. What is the best solution to fix this seepage?
